KLI trains the staff for the methodology of monitoring and reporting from the justice system

Pristina, April 11 2019 – Kosovo Law Institute (KLI) within the project “Demand for Justice” supported by the US State Department/Narcotics International Bureau and Law Enforcement Matters (INL), has continued to held  the training for 26 new intern monitors/researchers, who come from all municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo.

Training is focused in theoretical and practical aspect on constitutional and legal framework of the justice system, functioning of justice system, implementation of institutions of criminal, civil and administrative law, methodology of monitoring court hearings, reporting from court hearings, methodology of research and compilation of the reports.

KLI constantly develops activities within the program “Education” for the raise of capacities of new jurists. This project is supported by the US State Department, assists in the raise of capacities of new jurists, who will be engaged from each respective municipality of the Republic of Kosovo, in which they will monitor Basic Courts and their branches as well as respective Municipalities. This project is implemented by the KLI in partnership with the organization Initiative for Progress INPO.
