Pristina, 10 August 2018 – Assembly members of the Kosovo Law Institute (KLI), on August 10th 2018, held the third meeting of Assembly members for 2018. Assembly members of the KLI, in this meeting elected for a two year mandate at the position of the Executive Director of KLI, Mr. Ehat Miftaraj. This position will be exercised from 18 August 2018. Miftaraj has a long experience in the field of rule of law, respectively in drafting laws, field of international legal cooperation, performance evaluation of the prosecutorial system and as well as in the field of European integration process. In those fields he has worked from 2005, serving in international and local public institutions.
Miftaraj since three years is part of civil society, joining KL team, in which has served as legal researcher and policies analysis in the field of rule of law. For these three years Miftaraj held the position of deputy executive director and manager of programs/projects. Miftaraj follows in the position of the Executive Director Mr. Betim Musliu, who has served in this position for two mandates from August 2014 till August 2018.
The Assembly members of KLI actually count nine (9) members of Assembly. KLI is an independent organization non-governmental and non-profitable, factory of specialized in the field of justice that deals with advancement of the right. Established on 4 February 2009, institute functions as a professional association, registered in the Ministry of Public Administration with number 5112193-7 head of which stands the members of Assembly. The KLI’s activity is led by Executive Director, advised by the Advisory Board of the Organization.
