Pristina, 25 March 2019 – Kosovo Law Institute (KLI) in cooperation with CLARD, and supported by Fair Trials Europe and Netherlands Helsinki Committee, through the MATRA program, supported by the Netherlands Embassy in Pristina, is holding the training “Advancing criminal procedural rights in Kosovo” with judges, prosecutors, lawyers and NGOs from Pristina region.

In general, the project aims to improve the protection of procedural rights in Kosovo through a transnational approach based on EU criminal law in the field of access to justice, in particular the Procedural Rights Directives and the sharing of experiences of criminal justice experts and civil society from Kosovo and EU.

KLI in cooperation with CLARD, assisted by Fair Trial Brussels and Netherlands Helsinki Committee are leading the process of membership preparation of Kosovo in LEAP.

This process is being realized through a project supported by the Netherlands Embassy in Pristina.
