KLI trains new staff for monitoring and reporting from the justice system

Pristina, 21 December 2018 – Kosovo Law Institute (KLI) within the project “Demand for Justice” supported by the US State Department / International Burial of Narcotics and Law Enforcement Matters (INL) has held training for 26 new monitoring / researcher practitioners, who come from all municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo.

Training is focused on the theoretical and practical aspect on the constitutional and legal framework of the justice system, the functioning of the justice system, the implementation of criminal, civil and administrative law institutes, the methodology of monitoring court hearings, reporting from court hearings, research methodologies and compilation of reports.

KLI constantly develops activities within the “Education” program to increase the capacities of new jurists. This project, supported by the US State Department, assists to increase the capacity of new jurists, who will be engaged by each respective municipality of the Republic of Kosovo, in which will monitor the Basic Courts and their Branches as well as the respective Municipalities . This project is implemented by KLI in partnership with organization Initiative for Progress INPO.
